The Cholive® IS A PERFECT MATCH FOR CHOCOLATE MARTINIS
New dark chocolate treat will soon be available nationwide
September 24, 2007 - MILWAUKEE (Wis.) – Chocolatinis will never be the same, thanks to The Cholive®. The first garnish made specifically for chocolatinis and “dessert” martinis, The Cholive® is a brand-new product being introduced in select cities this fall, and will soon be available nationwide.
The Cholive® is not a chocolate-covered olive. Made from high-quality dark chocolate with a creamy truffle center for the “pimento,” The Cholive® is decidedly sweeter than an olive, and much more apropos for a chocolatini.
Developed by The Cholive® Company, Franklin, Wis., The Cholive® is being introduced this month in select bars, lounges and restaurants in the Midwest and Southwest. The company plans to roll The Cholive® out nationally over the next year. In addition to bars and restaurants, The Cholive® will also be available at select retail outlets and online.
Bars and lounges are expanding their menus of “dessert” martinis to satisfy the demands of patrons looking for drinks that are different and delicious. Drinks range from the fruity to the chocolatey, and presentation is equally as important as taste.
The Cholive® is an ideal garnish for a wide range of dessert martinis. Its familiar shape hints at the classic martini look, while its decadent chocolate taste adds the finishing touch.
In addition to drinks, establishments will be using The Cholive® in other ways. “The Cholive® makes a lovely topping to a variety of desserts, from elegant pastries to hot fudge sundaes” said Joe Hausch creator of The Cholive® and president of The Cholive® Company. “They’re also great by themselves – an indulgence for when you want a simple treat.”
